Deposits:

            Catered Events:

  • A $250 non-refundable deposit is due to hold your desired date. 
  • Payment must be made by cash, money order, or personal check.

             On Site Events:

  • A $500 deposit is due for on-site events to reserve your desired date.
  • Payment must be made by cash, money order, or personal check.

 

Cancellations:

  • Lease may be cancelled by either Capital Banquet Center or the Lessee. 
  • In the event that the lease is cancelled by the Lessee, deposits will be forfeited by the lessee, unless Capital Banquet Center is able to lease said date to another lessee with an event equal to or greater in number than the original lessee’s event and Capital Banquet Center is able to perform said new event. 
  • If the deposit is to be returned, a $50 service charge shall be retained by Capital Banquet Center.
  • Returnable deposits shall be returned within 14 days after the event date.
  • Capital Banquet Center shall not be liable for any damages due to cancellation (beyond return of deposit) caused by natural catastrophes, events beyond the control of Capital Banquet Center, or acts of third parties.
  • All cancellations must be in writing.

 

Balance Due:

  • The Balance Due is paid in full 14 days prior to the event. 
  • Payment must be by cash, money order, or certified check only. 
  • Balance Due is non-refundable.
  • Lessee shall be liable to Capital Banquet Center for at least the minimum number of guests. 
  • If, however, the expected number of guests exceeds the minimum, then Lessee shall be liable for at least the expected number of guests. 
  • In any event, Lessee shall be liable for the actual number of guests exceeding either the minimum or expected number of guests.
